Gary Barlow ‘Mourning Loss Of His Father’

Gary Barlow was forced to pull out of a charity event, because he’s mourning the loss of his father.

The Take That star cancelled his appearance as part of a Children In Need concert this morning (Friday 17th October), after the singer’s father Colin passed away suddenly aged 71.

Gary has now returned home to his parents’ home in Frodsham, Cheshire.

A source told the Mirror: “Everyone’s devastated. It’s not clear what’s happened to Colin yet but it looks like he may have suffered a heart attack.”

“We won’t really know until the coroner’s examination. As soon as Gary heard he wanted to be with his family. The bereavement was such a shock. He is devastated.”

A spokesperson for Barlow added: “Gary has suffered a family bereavement and we would like to ask for privacy at this sad time.”
